Day 1Vienna
Upon arrival at Vienna airport, transfer to the hotel. Check-in procedure, dinner and overnight in Vienna.
Day 2Vienna
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to Schoenbrunn Palace, the summer royal residence of the Hapsburg family for more than 200 years. After the visit, continue discovering the city with a panoramic tour along the magnificent Ringstrasse where you can find the most important sights of Vienna: the impressive State Opera, the Imperial Treasury, the beautiful building of the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna. Stop off at St. Stephen's Cathedral, one of the most important Gothic structures in Austria. Lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon have fun at the Vienna Prater park, the largest public park in Vienna and take a spin on the famous old Giant Ferris Wheel (ticket included), one of the city’s main symbols. Free time on own. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3Vienna – Maribor – Zagreb
After breakfast proceed to Slovenia. Stop in Maribor, the second largest city to enjoy some free time in its picturesque center. Lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon, proceed to Zagreb, the Croatian capital. Upon arrival, time at disposal for activities on own. Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight in Zagreb.
Day 4Zagreb – Zadar
Breakfast at the hotel. Walking tour of Zagreb including the most important cultural and historical monuments of the city: visit the Lower Town with the Main Square and the Upper Town where you can admire the Cathedral, the Dolac open market, the Stone Gate, St. Mark Church and have a stroll along Tkalcha Street, main hub for cafes, restaurants and bars. For some extra fun, have a ride on the world’s shortest funicular (optional). Lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive to Zadar, located on the Dalmatian coast. Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 5Zadar – Dubrovnik
Breakfast at the hotel. Discover the ancient history of Zadar with a walking city tour. During the walk the guide will show you the Old City, the Church of St. Donat, located on the ancient Roman forum, the Sea and Land Gates, the City Walls, the Main Square as well as St. Anastasia Cathedral. Lunch at restaurant. In the early afternoon, proceed to the southern Croatia to reach Dubrovnik. Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight in Dubrovnik or in a nearby town on the coast.
Day 6Dubrovnik
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a guided city tour of this amazing city walking down its medieval streets and exploring all major monuments like the Franciscan Monastery and the Cathedral (entrances included). Thanks to a cable car ride, you will experience amazing breathtaking views of the Old Town and Dubrovnik Riviera from the top. Lunch at restaurant. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Dubrovnik or in a nearby town on the coast.
Day 7Dubrovnik – Trogir – Split
Breakfast at the hotel. Today proceed to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Split and Trogir. First stop in Split, also known as ancient Spalato. With a guide you will discover the Old Town of Split on foot including the visit to the ancient Diocletian’s Palace, the Roman Emperor. Lunch at restaurant. Continue to Trogir where you will have some free time to explore the historic city on own. Founded by the ancient Greeks, it is a real open-air museum full of remains from Romanesque and Renaissance times. Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight stay in Split or surroundings.
Day 8Split – Plitvice – Opatija
Breakfast at the hotel. Traveling to the North, you will reach Plitvice Lakes National Park, the oldest and largest Croatian national park. This natural heritage site is inscribed to the UNESCO World Heritage List. The entrance ticket includes transport with electric boat and panorama train. Lunch at restaurant. Continue to Opatija, a magnificent costal town on the Adriatic Sea. Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 9Postojna – Bled – Ljubljana
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Postojna to visit one of the most incredible underground Caves in the world. Take an unforgettable ride on the underground train to experience this fascinating subterranean kingdom. Not far from Postojna Caves, you will reach the legendary Predjama Castle, the world’s largest cave castle (entrance included). Lunch at restaurant. Continue to Bled. Upon arrival enjoy a ride in a traditional Pletna boat to visit the small natural island home to a historic church. After the boat journey, have some free time to visit Bled at your own peace. Drive to Ljubljana. Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 10Ljubljana – Venice
Breakfast at the hotel. Discover Ljubljana with a guided city tour and see all the major sights of the Old Town including: the Old square, the river promenade, St. Nicholas Cathedral, the famous open air market and the Dragon Bridge. Lunch at restaurant. Free time on own before proceeding to Venice. Check-in at the hotel in Mestre or Padua, dinner and overnight.
Day 11Venice
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast proceed to Venice. Board your private ferry boat and enjoy a walking city tour to see all highlights of “La Serenissima” such as The Doge’s Palace, St. Mark Basilica and its Square and the Bell Tower. See the famous Bridge of Sighs and experience the beauty of this amazing city from the canals on a private gondola ride. Local lunch at restaurant. Return to Tronchetto Bus Parking and have some free time for shopping. Dinner and overnight in Mestre or Padua.
Day 12Venice
After breakfast transfer to the APT according to your flight details.
