On this short tour you will discover Lisbon, which is often referred to as the San Francisco of Europe thanks to its most treasured landmark - 25 de Abril Bridge, you will visit the Belem Tower - one of Lisbon's most iconic buildings, a World Heritage UNESCO Site, Roca Cape, the most Western point of continental Europe, enchanting landscapes & charming village life like Sintra and Cascais
Day 1Lisbon
Upon arrival at Lisbon airport, meet our ISCRA Representative (optional). Check in at the hotel, dinner and overnight in Lisbon.
Day 2Lisbon
Breakfast at the hotel. With an Enghish speaking guide, you will enjoy a full day tour covering the major sights of Lisbon. Walk through the Baixa (Lisbon’s downtown), cross the main squares Rossio, Restauradores and Comercio, see Lisbon Cathedral and admire the breathtaking view of the city from one of the many „Miradouros“ viewpoints. Lunch at restaurant.
In the afternoon, drive to one of the best areas of the city: Belém. Visit The Monastery of St. Jerome, the most impressive symbol of Portugal's power and wealth during the Age of Discovery. Continue to Belém Tower, built to protect the city form attacks and to the Monument to the Discoveries. Finally, taste the original custard tart in the famous pastry shop Pastéis de Belém. Dinner and overnight in Lisbon.
Day 3Lisbon – Sintra
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a full day excursion to Sintra. Start your visit with The Pena Palace, the most recognizable monument of Sintra's cultural landscape which has been classified as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon short walk to explore the historic centre of Sintra before proceeding to Quinta da Regaleira Palace, one of Sintra’s most enigmatic sights. The Palace, surrounded by lush green gardens, is a mix of Romantic, Gothic , Manueline and Renaissance styles. Be amazed by its enigmatic constructions and discover the grotto which will lead you to a surprising lake hidden in the middle of the gardens. After the visit you will reach Cabo da Roca (Cape Roca), the most western point of mainland Europe, passing Guincho beach (picture stop). Drive along the Estoril Coast and wander around the village of Cascais before going back to Lisbon. Dinner and overnight in Lisbon.
Day 4Lisbon
After breakfast transfer to the APT according to your flight details.
