Day 1 Athens
Upon arrival in Athens airport, you will meet our representative, transfer to the hotel. Check in. Relax. After lunch we will begin the City tour - our expert guide will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). At the Acropolis you will visit the architectural masterpiece of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts order in the mind” - the Parthenon. Continue and visit a must-see in Athens, the place where finally the statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era. Leisure time and dinner. Overnight in Athens.
Day 2Athens - Mykonos
After breakfast transfer to the Pireaus Port to get the ferry to Mykonos island. Departure at 12.50, arrival at 14.20 in Mykonos island. Our driver will be waiting for you at Mykonos Port, transfer to the hotel. Check in, free time. Mykonos is the most famous island in the world for its beaches and fun, also known as the island of winds. The stroll in ‘’Little Venice’’ of the island, or the walk through the narrow streets of "Matogiania" will be memorable for your vacations, and you can shop clothes and other local items that you'll only find in Mykonos. Relax and enjoy the amazing night life of Mykonos! Overnight in Mykonos.
Day 3 Mykonos - Santorini
After breakfast transfer to Mykonos port to take the ferryboat - departure at around 07:00 for the famous Santorini Island, arrival at 10:00. Upon arrival check in if rooms are ready, and early lunch. After lunch you will visit Volcano - Hot Springs, you will enjoy your dinner on the boat admiring the magnificent famous sunset of Oia. At the end of the tour we will return at your hotel. In the evening you can enjoy your drink at the hundreds places located just on the rocks above the sea, and walk among the narrow streets of the island where you can buy many souvenirs. Overnight in Santorini.
Day 4 Santorini - Athens
Breakfast. Enjoy some free time. Check out, transfer to Santorini port. Take the afternoon ferry to Athens. In the evening arrival to Athens. Transfer to the hotel, check in. Dinner & Overnight.
Day 5 Athens - Izmir - Kusadasi
Today morning after breakfast visit the remaining must see sightseeing places of Athens. Enjoy lunch. In the afternoon the city tour continues. In the evening have an early dinner at the restaurant and afterwards transfer to airport for your flight to Izmir. Upon arrival to Izmir, transfer to the hotel, check in , overnight in Izmir or in Kusadasi. Late dinner & overnight.
Day 6 Kusadasi - Pamukkale (190km –3hrs)
This morning after breakfast enjoy a guided visit of Kusadasi. Kuşadası is a beach resort town on Turkey’s western Aegean coast. A jumping-off point for visiting the classical ruins at nearby Ephesus (or Efes), it’s also a major cruise ship destination. Its seafront promenade, marina, and harbor are lined with hotels and restaurants. Just offshore on Pigeon Island there is a walled Byzantine castle that once guarded the town, connected to the mainland via causeway. Our guide will show you important places like the House of the Virgin Mary, The Temple of Artemis, the Ephesus Archeological Museum. Other places such as the Pigeon Island, the Kusadasi Bazar, the Isbey Mosque. Visit the Camilk Museum. Enjoy your lunch. Evening departure to Pamukkale. Dinner at the restaurant. Overnight in Pamukkale.
Day 7 Pamukkale - Konya (400Km – 6hrs)
Today morning after breakfast visit of Pamukkale with the guide: our guide will show you all important places such as the Hierapolis, the Cotton Castle terraces and Hot Springs in Pamukkale. Enjoy lunch. After lunch proceed to Konya. Upon arrival to Konya, check in. Dinner & Overnight.
Day 8Konya - Aksaray - Ilhara Valley – Cappadocia (300Km)
Today morning after breakfast enjoy a guided half day excursion in Konya. Konya is a pilgrimage destination for Sufis, focused on the tomb of the founder of the Mevlana order, Jelaleddin Rumi, in the Mevlana Museum. Sema whirling dervish ceremonies take place at the Mevlana Cultural Center, east of the Museum. The 12th-century Alaeddin Mosque is surrounded by the green parks of Alaeddin Hill. Visit Shrine of Mavalna Jelaeddin Rumi. Lunch and proceed to Cappadocia, via visiting Ilhara Valley. This actually is a deep gorge that looks picturesque with the Melendiz River flowing through it. Nature Walks through any of the four entrances of the valley are the most popular activity at the valley and as you walk beside the rumbling Melendiz River, you can enjoy spotting butterflies, frogs, dragon flies, and even turtles. There are more than hundred ancient cave churches in this canyon which you visit during the nature walk. About 16 of them are still intact with beautiful paintings inside them, making Ihlara Valley one of the most interesting places to visit close to Cappadocia. In the evening check in at the hotel. Gala dinner at a Turkish nightclub with unlimited local drink and traditional shows. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 9 Cappadocia
Early morning: optional Hot Air Balloon Ride with light breakfast. Experience the floating through volcanic valleys, fairy chimneys and caves with the sunrise of Cappadocia. Note: The Hot Air balloon tour is possible if the weather is good. The tour will take around 3-4 hours. Later enjoy a full day Cappadocia tour including the Rose Valley - an isolated valley behind Urgup. It has beautiful rock formations with some great hidden rock – carved churches, the Cavusin Village, the underground City of Kaymakli. It is believed that the underground cities of Cappadocia were initially built during the eighth and seventh centuries B.C. by the Phrygians, who carved their living spaces into the region’s soft volcanic rock. There are around 200 cities in total in Cappadocia, including the most visited Derinkuyu and Kaymakli. Visit the Pigeon Valley and a pottery workshop in Avanos Village. Discover Fairy Chimneys, also known as hoodoos or tent rocks, spooky looking spires of rock that range from the height of an average person to over 40 meters, and explore Goreme Open Air Museum - a complex of churches cut into volcanic rock during the Middle Ages & decorated with frescoes, and much more. Lunch at the restaurant. Evening dinner & overnight.
Day 10 Cappadocia - Istanbul
Today morning after breakfast proceed to Kayseri airport to board your flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival to Istanbul, transfer to your hotel. Check in. Lunch at a local restaurant. Relax for some time. Later in afternoon enjoy a guided panoramic Istanbul tour including the Taksim Square, the Istiklal Street. Dinner & Overnight.
Day 11 Istanbul
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day Istanbul classical City tour on PVT basis including the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome, the St Sophia Museum, the Topkapi Palace. The Topkapi Palace is one of the must-see attractions in Istanbul that combines history and stunning scenery in an experience that it is not to be rushed. Rich in the history of the Ottoman Empire, the Topkapi Palace is surrounded by five kilometers (3.1 miles) of stone wall with 27 towers. Visit the Grand Bazaar - travelers who love to shop shouldn’t miss out on a visit to the Grand Bazaar, with its 5,000 shops making it one of the largest indoor marketplaces in the world. Receiving more than a quarter-million visitors a day, the Bazaar features such items as jewelry, carpets that may or may not fly, spices, antiques and hand-painted ceramics. The Bazaar dates back to 1461 and today it is home to two mosques, four fountains, two hammams or steam baths. Following: a Boshporus Cruise tour, Camlica Hills, Ayyub Al Ansari, Suleymaniye Mosque and free time near the Taksim Square to visit Istiklal street. Lunch & dinner included. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 12Istanbul
Breakfast. Free time for shopping. Check out. Lunch and transfer to the airport for your return flight home. Departure.
