Pilgrimage Tour: Rome and Athens in the Footsteps of St. Paul 
Rome – Athens – Corinth

Day 1Rome
Upon arrival at Rome airport, meet our ISCRA Representative (optional). Transfer to the hotel for check-in procedure. Dinner and overnight in Rome.
Day 2Rome
Breakfast at the hotel. This day is dedicated to visit the most significant religious places in Rome. Start with a guided tour of the major churches of the city: see the Basilica of St. Mary Major and St. John Lateran, stop at the Holy Stairs (Scala Santa) and visit the Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem. Lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon proceed to Coliseum, the main symbol of Rome, and entrance to the Mamertine Prison (or The Carcer Tullianum), which is the site where, according to tradition, the Apostles Peter and Paul lived their final days before martyrdom. End the tour with a stop at the famous Trevi Fountain. Dinner and overnight in Rome.
Day 3Rome
Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Vatican, the smallest sovereign state in the world ruled by the Pope. Within Vatican City you can see one of the world's most famous religious and cultural sites such as St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. After lunch, entrance to St. Callixtus or St. Sebastian Catacombs and visit the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, Rome’s largest basilica after St. Peter in Vatican, erected where St. Paul was buried. If time permits, enjoy a last stop at Three Fountains Abbey, raised on the spot where St. Paul was beheaded by order of the Emperor Nero. Legend says that his head bounced on the ground in three different spots, from which fountains are said to have sprung up. Dinner and overnight in Rome.
Day 4Rome – Athens
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Rome APT according to your flight to Athens, Greece. Upon arrival, meet our ISCRA Representative (optional) and proceed to the hotel for check-in procedure. Dinner and overnight in Athens.
Day 5Athens
Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed with a panoramic city tour: see the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop), the Temple of Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier and the Constitution Square (Syntagma). Continue to the sacred rock of Acropolis to visit the ruins of the Parthenon, Erechtheum and Propylaea. Stop at Mars Hill, where St. Paul delivered his well-known sermon, and descend towards the Agora, the ancient market where St. Paul spoke to the Athenians. Lunch at restaurant. Afternoon free to spend some time in the Plaka area, the old part of the city. Dinner and overnight in Athens.
Day 6Athens-Corinth
Breakfast at the hotel. Leave Athens and drive along the coast to reach the Corinth Canal. Short stop for refreshments and picture taking before reaching the site of the Ancient Town of Corinth where St. Paul lived and preached for two years. Under the Acropolis of Corinth (Akrocorinthos), visit the ruins of the ancient city where St. Paul worked with Aquila and Priscilla, see the Agora (market), the Temple of Apollo and the fountain of Peirene. Lunch at restaurant. End the excursion with a drive to Lechaion and Cechreae, the ancient port from where Paul sailed away from Corinth. Return to Athens to arrive in the afternoon Transfer back to Athens for dinner and overnight.
Day 7Athens
After breakfast transfer to the APT according to your flight details.
