Group Tour: The Golden Circle 
Reykjavik - Akreyari - Hofn - Eyjafallajokull

Day 1Reykjavik
Upon arrival to Keflavik Airport, proceed to your hotel. Rest of the day free to explore on own. Evening Dinner at the hotel or Restaurant. Overnight.
Day 2Reykjavik - Akureyari (425 km)
After breakfast proceed towards west along the scenic Hvalfjorour fjord and the town of Borgarnes. Easy hike on Grabrok volcano crater in the middle of a greenish lava field. In the afternoon visit a natural history & seal museum in the fishing village of Hvammstangi. Further north stop at the turf church of Vioimyri and then continue along scenic fjord landscape and over several mountain passes until we reach Akureyri, the capital of North Iceland. Overnight in Akureyri.
Day 3Akureyari (lake Myvatn) (120 km)
Morning after breakfast explore Akureyari , visit the botanical garden and enjoy the panoramic view over Eyjafjorour fjord. In the afternoon proceed to Gooafoss, the waterfalls of the Gods. Later continue to Lake Myvatn, stop at the bizarre lava formations at Kalfastrond followed by a walk around the many pseudocraters. Stroll through the mysterious lava field of Dimmuborgir, see the tephra cone Hverfjalla and soak at Myvatn Nature Baths. Overnight at Lake Myvatn.
Day 4Akreyari - East Iceland (250 km)
After breakfast we shall proceed to Dimmuborgir to visit Lava Labyrinth (The Dark Castles) to get a glimpse of the trolls. Later proceed to visit the hot spring area of Namaskaro with bubbling mud pools and steaming solfataras. Head through the uninhabited highlands and moon-like surrounding to East Iceland. From June to August the tour includes a detour to the powerful waterfall Dettifoss. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 5East Fjords (260 km)
After breakfast it’s a day to admire the dramatic fjord landscape and its tiny fishing villages at the end of twisty roads in the East Fjords and on the way visit an interesting stone and mineral collection. Later in the afternoon we see Vatnajokull – Europe’s biggest glacier that is visible all over Southeast Iceland. Please note that itinerary on this specific day can change due to seasonal factors, such as daylight. Overnight at Hotel Hofn.
Day 6Hofn – Eyjafjallajokull - South Coast (380 km)
This Morning after breakfast get ready to explore places like Vatnajokull National Park, Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach & South Coast. First we will stop at Jokulsarlon, a glacial lagoon filled with floating icebergs, and explore the extraordinary site and might see seals swimming in arctic waters . one can walk on black sandy beach where large icebergs get stranded ( Optional boat trip available). ravel along the southern part of the glacier Vatnajokull and spend time at Europe’s largest national park, which has Iceland’s highest mountains, an alpine environment, and Europe’s largest glacier. Later in the afternoon, a beautiful drive with many natural wonders awaits today as you head across the Eldhraun lava field, cross the sandy desert of the south coast, overlooked by mountainous cliffs, glaciers and waterfalls. Stroll along the black lava beach of Reynisfjara near Vik. Don’t forget to visit skogafoss waterfall which is 60 meters high is one of the most impressive waterfalls in the country. Continue to the high but narrow Seljalandsfoss waterfall which plunges over the mountain. Please note itinerary on this day can change due to the season factors such as daylight. Overnight at Eyjafjallajokull Hotel.
Day 7South Coast – Reykjavik (160 km)
After breakfast we shall travel the routh of the Golden Circle sights. First we shall visit Frioheimar, where you learn about the Icelandic horse, its unique qualities, and history and visit a geothermal greenhouse. Later see steam from the Geysir geothermal fields. The original geyser is now dormant but has been replaced by Strokkur, "the Churn", which erupts at 5-10 minute intervals. Continue to Gullfoss, "the golden falls". Proceed to Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site, and an area of exceptional geological and historical interest. Later continue to Reykjavik, on arrival proceed for a short city tour to show highlights of the world's northernmost capital. Overnight in Reykjavik.
Day 8Reykjavik
Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to Airport for Return flight. Tour ends.
