16 days / 15 nights | Day 1 | Rome Arrive at Rome international airport, ISCRA representative will meet the group. Proceed to the guided tour of the major churches in Rome: Holy steps (Scala Santa) John the Lateran Cathedral, visit the basilica of Holy Cross in Jerusalem, and outside View of Coliseum, St. Paul’s Church. Then proceed to the hotel for dinner and overnight. | Day 2 | Rome - Papal Audience - Vatican Museums - St. Peters Basilica After breakfast at hotel, we will proceed for the Papal Audience at St Peter's Square. Proceed for early lunch at Indian Restaurant. After lunch we will visit the Vatican Museums and a large part of the Vatican City, one of the European microstates, situated on the Vatican Hill. Leaving the Piazza San Bernardo, adorned by Moses’ Fountain we will visit the Vatican Museums and the Vatican Galleries (lines possible at the entrance). There you will admire the modern entrance built for the Jubilee 2000, the Galleries of the Chandeliers of the Tapestries and of the Geographical Maps, the Sobiesky Hall and the Immaculate Conception Hall. We will then stop to admire the Sistine Chapel, seat of the Conclave, with the famous frescoes of Michelangelo. Passing inside the Vatican Museums we will arrive into the Basilica of Saint Peter, commonly called Saint Peter's Basilica, one of the four major basilicas of Rome. It is the most prominent building inside the Vatican City and built on the ruins of Old Saint Peter's Basilica. After Basilica visit, we will proceed to Trevi Fountain where we will stop for a visit. Then we have the Catacombs visit, proceed for dinner and overnight in Rome. | Day 3 | Rome - Assisi - Pisa After breakfast check- out. Proceed to Assisi, where you will have a guided tour of the city. The sightseeing tour includes visit to the Church of St. Clare which houses her incorrupt body. One of the chapels contains the crucifix that bowed its head and ordered St. Francis to "repair God’s Church". Afterwards, we proceed to the Basilica of St. Francis, built in 1228 to house the Relics of the saint. The "upper" basilica houses beautiful frescoes of Giotto. Before leaving Assisi, we visit the Church of Santa Maria Degli Angeli, containing the famous Porziuncola. This very ancient chapel, venerated for an apparition of angels within it, was originally property of the Benedictines of Subasio. It was located on a piece of land known as the Portiuncula; this name became attached to the chapel. After a long period of abandonment, it was restored by St. Francis. Here, he was given a dear understanding of his vocation. He founded here the Order of Friars Minor (1209), "establishing here his home". Proceed to Pisa. On arrival to Pisa, visit view of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, dinner and overnight in Pisa. | Day 4 | Pisa - Padua - Venice After breakfast, check-out, proceed to Padua, then visit Shrine of St Anthony of Padua on your own and also celebrate Mass (optional and upon request only). After mass proceed for lunch, after lunch we will lead to Venice, (Approx. 45 minutes’ drive) where you will get a ferry boat to reach Venice lagoon. The tour will start at St Mark’s Square. Walking tour of the area between Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge, passing through the Fenice Theatre, ScaladelBovolo, Ponte di Rialto. Then we proceed to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Padua. | Day 5 | Venice - Milan (Italy) - Innsbruck (Austria) After breakfast check-out, proceed to Milan. Visit Duomo Cathedral, the biggest and greatest example of Gothic architecture in Italy - it is the fourth largest cathedral in the world. Built between 1386 and 1577, it hosts the world's largest collection of marble statues. Lunch at local restaurant then proceed to Innsbruck. Arrival, check-in, dinner and overnight in Innsbruck. | Day 6 | Engelberg (Switzerland) After breakfast, we will proceed to visit Austria by city tour, visit Swarovski kristallwelt, then have lunch and proceed to Engerlbeg by coach (around 350 KM), reach the hotel, dinner at hotel and overnight in Engelberg. | Day 7 | Engelberg (Switzerland)- Mt Titles - Lucerne- After breakfast, we will proceed to Mt Titles; the TITLIS ROTAIR gondola rotates its way up towards the snow-covered summit of TITLIS. The world's first revolving gondola transports you from the middle station at Stand up to the mountain station at 3,020 meters above sea-level. After mount Titlis visit we will proceed for lunch. After Lunch you will visit Lucerne - the city which ranks amongst the world's prettiest cities. You will see the world-famous Chapel Bridge and Water Tower, the Musegg Wall, the Jesuit Church, the Mill Bridge, the Lion Monument. Time for shopping. Then back to the hotel, dinner and overnight in Engelberg. | Day 8 | Engelberg - Zurich - Rhine Falls- Heppenheim (Germany) After breakfast, you will start the Zurich Panoramic City Tour by Bus. You will see: Lake of Zurich, Grossmunster, St Peter and The Zurich Opera House. Lunch will be en route. After lunch you will visit The Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen. Transfer to Heppenheim (approx. 3hrs 45 mins). Dinner and overnight stay at Heppenheim. | Day 9 | Heppenheim - Cologne - Amsterdam (Holland) After breakfast, you will move to Cologne (approx. 3 hrs.) You will visit Cologne Cathedral, Great St. Martin Church, Shrine of the Three Kings and St. Andrew's Church. Indian Lunch in Cologne and after lunch you will drive to Amsterdam (approx. 3 hrs. 30 minutes). Dinner and overnight in Amsterdam. | Day 10 | Amsterdam - Madurodam - Tulip Garden - Brussels (Belgium) After breakfast, we will proceed to visit Amsterdam, The Dam, Albert Cuyp market, Amsterdam windmills, Amsterdam's canals. We will visit Madurodam which is a miniature park. Proceed for lunch. After lunch we will visit the Tulip Garden. Later we will proceed to Brussels. Dinner and overnight in Brussels. | Day 11 | Brussels (Belgium) - Paris (France) After breakfast, proceed for a City Tour of Brussels where you will see the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gondola, Brussels Town Hall and Place Royale. After lunch proceed to Paris (approx. 4 hrs. 30 minutes). Arrive in Paris, dinner and overnight in Paris. | Day 12 | Paris (France) After breakfast proceed for full day City tour of Paris, drive past Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, the Opera, Petit Palais and Grand Palais, Les Invalides and 3 Churches, Notre Dame Cathedral, Miraculas Medal & St. Vincent Paul. Then proceed to Seine Cruise and visit the Eiffel Tower. Dinner and overnight in Paris. | Day 13 | Paris - Lourdes (France) After breakfast, we proceed for a long drive to Lourdes (approx. 10hrs or by Eurorail). Lunch will be packed or en route. Upon arrival at Lourdes check-in, evening proceed for the Candlelight Procession at around 9pm. Dinner and overnight at Lourdes. | Day 14 | Lourdes (France) After breakfast, we will proceed to Lourdes church for the full day free for your prayers, you can attend 8:00am mass in English at the basilica. We will visit the sites of the Lourdes where in 1858, Mother Mary appeared to young Bernadette Soubirous, visit the Grotto, the spring, as well as the Basilica of St. Pius X, the Rosary Basilica and Bernadette’s home. Lunch, dinner and overnight in Lourdes. | Day 15 | Lourdes - Zaragoza – Madrid After Breakfast we proceed for a long drive to Zaragoza and visit our lady of alter Church, The Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar (better known simply as El Pilar), one of two major cathedrals in the heart of Zaragoza, Spain. It is an important pilgrimage site, thanks to an ancient pillar said to have been given by the Virgin Mary to Saint James on this very spot. According to the local legend, in 40 AD the apostle Saint James the Greater was praying on the banks of the Ebro River in Zaragoza (then the Roman town of Caesar Augusta) when the Virgin Mary appeared to him. She was still living in Jerusalem at the time; this is her only reported apparition prior to her Assumption. Proceed to Madrid, the capital city of Spain, the land of Bull Ring and Tomato festival. Dinner and overnight in Madrid.
