This tour offers an exhilarating chance to explore the best cities of central Europe. From Prague, UNESCO World Heritage site, the magical city of bridges, cathedrals, gold tipped towers, to Vienna, home to some of the finest palaces in Europe, including Schönbrunn Palace and Hofburg and Budapest, known as the 'Pearl of the Danube', The glorious architecture of Hungary's parliament building, the magnificent beauty of Crown Bridge and the gothic castle of Buda are some of the fabulous sights that this truly amazing city boasts. To complete the tour a stop also in Brno and Bratislava, one of the capital cities of the Hungarian Kingdom
Day 1Vienna
Upon arrival at Vienna airport, meet our ISCRA Representative (optional). Check in at the hotel, dinner and overnight in Vienna.
Day 2Vienna
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to Schoenbrunn Palace, the summer royal residence of the Hapsburg family for more than 200 years. After the visit, continue discovering the city with a panoramic tour along the magnificent Ringstrasse where you can find the most important sights of Vienna: the impressive State Opera or Grand Hofburg Palace, the Imperial Treasury, the beautiful building of the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna. Stop off at St. Stephen's Cathedral, one of the most important Gothic structures in Austria. Lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon drive down to Hinterbrühl to enjoy a guided tour and a boat ride trip though the Seegrotte, the „Lake cave“. Located 27 km away from Vienna, it is one of the largest underground lakes in Europe. Transfer back to Vienna for dinner and overnight.
Day 3Vienna
Breakfast at the hotel. Today is reserved for you to explore and enjoy Vienna on your own. Have fun at the Vienna Prater park, the largest public park in Vienna: in contrast to other theme parks its access is free of charge, only the attractions themselves are charged and they can vary between € 1,50 to € 5,00. Take a spin on the famous old Giant Ferris Wheel (ticket included), one of the city’s main symbols: with its 65 meters high, it offers a breathtaking vieW of the city. Lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon keep exploring the downtown area of Vienna on foot and have some shopping in its city center. Dinner and overnight in Vienna.
Day 4Vienna - Brno - Prague
After breakfast at the hotel departure to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. En route stop in Brno for lunch and free time to discover the city on your own. Have a stroll through the main squares, stop off at the Bishop Palace at Greengrocery Market, see the Old Town Hall and the famous Santa Casa and Art Nouveau villa. Upon arrival in Prague, check in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 5Prague
Breakfast at the hotel. During this guided city tour you will get to know the most famous historical sights in Prague. Entrance to the Prague Castle, one of the most important Czech monuments included in the UNESCO heritage list. Lunch at restaurant. From the Castle, the guide will take you to the Lesser Town (Mala Strana, one of the oldest and most charming parts of Prague) and then, across the Charles Bridge, to the many streets of the Old Town. Look over Wenceslas Square and Na Příkopech Street and be amazed by The Old Town Square with its Astronomical clock. Dinner and overnight in Prague.
Day 6Prague – Bratislava – Budapest
After breakfast at the hotel departure to Budapest, 'The Paris of the East'. Through the Moravian-Slovak picturesque landscapes you will reach Bratislava, one of the capital cities of the Hungarian Kingdom. Lunch at restaurant. Head into the Old Town and discover the most beautiful sites of the city like the Main Square, the Old Town Hall, the Franciscan Church, the oldest building in Bratislava, The Opera House or St. Martin's Cathedral where 11 Hungarian kings and queens were crowned between 1536 and 1830. Crossing the border into Hungary, you arrive in Budapest. Spend the evening on a Danube river cruise paired with a dinner including a selection of Hungarian specialities (optional). Overnight in Budapest.
Day 7Budapest
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a full day guided city tour: visit to the Heroes' Square, the City Park of Budapest with the Vajdahunyad Castle, Andrassy Street and the Széchenyi Thermal Baths. Lunch at restaurant. Continue up to the Castle Hill district to visit the Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church. From here you will enjoy a superb view over the imposing Parliament building and the river Danube which crosses through the city separating the plain of Pest from the hilly side of Buda. Dinner and overnight in Budapest.
Day 8Budapest
After breakfast transfer to the APT according to your flight details.
